500ml bottle from Micro Beer Crate, online. Cloudy dark gold pour, some bubbles on top. Aroma has a fruity dessert, somewhat tangy apple vibe, caramel, lots of barnyard funk. Its quite dry and tangy, brown sugar and light funk. Medium bodied, smooth still cider. Good.

On tap at Hops, Crewe (presumably BIB / gravity but poured out of my sight). Pours golden amber with virtually no head. There’s a really strong aroma of freshly cut apple peel. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy but with occasional sharpness. Flavour is mushy apple sauce with some hints of cloves and flowers. There’s still a slight sweetness in the finish, but it then becomes increasingly dry. I was going to say this was too sweet for me – but the finish changed my mind ! Decent.

500ml bottle from Top of the Hops Darlington store. Golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of fruity ripe apple, honey & caramel hints, woody, funky. Taste is sweetish, tangy, apple, fruity, mellow, tangy & tart, acetic funk, with drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
