A fiesty batch this. The fermentation went on and on and when the sun shone it blew the lid right off the tank. A mix of John O Prince, Breaburn and Spartan from Greenway Farm and Scrace Cookers have produced a strong, refreshing crisp green cider with notes of Granny Smith sweet and sharp.

330ml draft in a bottle from lowcostbeer.com. Pours cloudy gold with brief thin white head. No visible carbonation. Aroma of mellow fruity apple, some barnyard, pineapple. Taste is funky tropical notes, mellow apples, some tartness, mostly sweet but some bitter apple notes. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, still. Odd, has some similarities to barrel aged sours I've tried. It grew on me.
