Our Even Keel is a hoppy ale designed for smooth sailing. A full-flavored beer with a silky malt backbone and a bright hop profile of herbs and citrus, it packs all the taste of an IPA in a session able alchohol content. This ale is perfect for leisurely days on the water, when all you want are a few beers and a level ride.

Can. A- Subtle pine, caramel malt, mango, citrus, stone fruits. A- Amber color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Subtle bitterness, citrus, tropical fruits. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- This is light! About as session as it gets. Very balanced between the bitterness, malt, and notes of citrus. There was nothing that stood out and made me say wow, other than wow, this is solid and I could drink a ton.

Bottle from Bottl3.5hop, Stockholm. Hazy amber with a large white head. Aroma of mango, some pineapple, citrus and light caramel. Similar taste, also some malt. The body was medium as was the bitterness. A good Session IPA.

Can evidently 4 weeks old into an IPA. A: Crystal clear pale orange with little head despite lively carbonation. Sticky lacing though. S: Herbs and tea. Spruce needles. T: Pine and bitter grapefruit pith. Faint fruit and spruce as it warms. M: Light but not quite too thin on the mouth. Sprightly tingle and clean zesty finish. O: Pretty good but not outstanding in any way though I like the distinctive scent. At its price, not likely a repeat purchase.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver
Hazy golden color, with large bubbles. Nice aroma of hops (a bit resiny and fruity), cereals (as in other low gravity beers), chamomile, honey. The mouthfeel is very dry, it has some cereal flavor, strong bitterness, some hop resins, light orange oil, and a bit astringent in the final.
Nice beer, even better at this gravity.

Can clear light orange-amber. Full rocky off-white head. Nice fresh floral and citrus hop aroma. Tart sharp hoppy flavors and light clean malts. Dry and crisp. Decent lingering bitter especially for a session.

Mostly clear deep gold with a white head. Aroma of pine resin and some citrus. Nice citrusy bitter flavor. I can’t believe this is under 4%! Good beer.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 11/19/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness and lighter body that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/grainy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 3.8%. Overall this is a very nice Session IPA style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and light-moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours an amber from a can. Nose of generic citrus. Flavor similar with soapy notes, rather thin as most sessions are. Okay beer.
