330ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, maple syrup. The flavour is strong sweet, with a silky smooth, rich, roasty, big liquorice, dark chocolate, vanilla, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate and an oily mouthfeel. Full bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Black colour with small beige head.Aroma is sweet of Marple syrup and vanilla nice sweet with hint of coconut and chocolate nice sweet and warming taste and mild finish.

Can at home, black beer, medium beige head. Aroma is sweet, maple syrup, caramel, nuts, pecans, vanilla, chocolate, praline. Taste is the same, sweet, maple syrup, pecans, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, praline bonbons, lacotose sweetness, some bitterness in the end, alcohol warmth, very very good.

Blik gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van noten, chocolade, vanille en toffee. De smaak is vol chocolade, zoet en noot achtig.

Аромат просто ураганный. Дикое море нуги с орезами, карамели, бесквита, шоколад, вообще сникерс даже напоминает, немного клинового сиропа, естественно сладкий. Цвет черный как смола, пенка тонкая, кофейная. Вкус тоже на уровне, но не ожидалось чуть больше после такого аромата. Уже больше шоколада и меньше орезов, есть также карамель, при глотке немного сиропа и пироженого шоколадного. Есть намеки на изюм. В целом хотелось немного большей шлубины и разнообразия, но все равно топ.

Can shared with ITFCDan. Aroma of chocolate, nutty, fudge cake, coffee and roasted malts. Taste of strawberry marshmallows, biscuit, hazelnuts. Nice thick bitter finish. Very good.

Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is maple, brown sugar, dark chocolate, toffee, caramel cake. Taste is pecan pie, maple, dark chocolate, creamy coffee, more brown sugar. Long alcohol burn. Rich warming finish.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is smoky, oily coffee and pecan. Taste has sweet oily coffee, pecan and roast. Sticky mouthfeel.

Merci à Graham de m'envoyer de telles bières introuvables sur mon caillou. Noix de pecan, sirop d'érable et candi au programme de ce Neonraptor. Une chose est certaine, c'est une gourmandise qui ravira les amateurs de Pastry Imperial Stout. La noix de pécan me fait toujours un peu peur sur les bières. Ici, même si à mon gout j'aurais préféré qu'elle soit un peu moins prononcée, elle n'est pas omniprésente. Elle est toutefois dominante. Le visuel est sur un noir total avec une très faible effervescence et très peu de mousse. Au nez cela sent bien la noix de pecan avec une base café, chocolat et sirop d'érable solide. En bouche, la texture, suave est très appréciable. L'ensemble est très gourmand, relativement sucré sans l'être de trop et avec un alcool à 13 % qui ne se ressent pas mais qui soutient très bien la structure. La présence en bouche et bonne tout comme la longueur. Bonne intensité également pour un Imperial Stout solide.
