21/1/2023. Can shared at the first ITFC 2023 beer share. From Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, light roasted malt, molasses, maple syrup, pecan, liquorice. Quite sweet with moderate roasted bitterness. Full bodied, sticky, soft carbonation. Sweet dessert goodness. Very good.

Very dark brown, creamy light brown head. Smell is maply, salty roast, pecans. Body's thick, smooth, with some carbonation for relief. Taste is just pure magic. Amazing balance between slight salty roast, rich maple, pecans and some sweetness. Sensational

Panda at home, thanks to Tips, 14/11/21. Black with a tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, pecan nuts, brown sugar melt, light spice, nutty, dark fruit rinds. Taste comprises sweet malts, pecan pie, chocolate melt, brown sugars, maple syrup, light spice balance. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light rising boost. Solid pastry work.

440ml can. Pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of pecan nuttiness, maple, chocolate. Taste is very rich, sweet, maple, candi sugar, caramel, dark chocolate, a little lactose, pecan, roast malts. Full bodied, thick. This is sensational. Thick and sweet but not overwhelmingly so, alcohol is pretty well integrated, doesn't feel at all boozy despite the 13% ABV. Stout of the year for me!
