Bottle. Rich amber beer with a tan head. Pine and grapefruit aroma with malt. Grapefruit and pine flavor with light summer fruit and light malt. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and summer fruit lingers with pine, earth, and malt.

Amber-copper color with small white head. Very hoppy, berries, mango, grapefruit. Taste is sweet-oily, fruity, and bitter. Great DIPA.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark copper with a creamy beige head. Aroma is pine, earth, citrus, floral and somewhat roasty malt. Smells like ingredients are way over the norm. Full bodied. Flavor is somewhat roasty malt, floral, citrus, pine, earth. Not really getting any spice. It’s heavy on malt. Heavy on hop. Hop burns just a bit on the tongue edges. Maybe some heat burn on top of the tongue and back palate. Back to medieval times: Bet the Abbot would have loved this liquid bread! Really good. Mouth smacking.
