From bottle to pint glass. Pours clear amber with off white head that quickly fades to a collar. Pine and a little peat on the aroma. Flavor is woodsy with a faint hint of orange peel. Not too bad.

Keg at the brewpub, 02/02/16. Cear golden with a decent off white head. Nose is sweet malt, citric peel, ornage pith, leafy hops. Taste comprises orange pith, earthy hop, straw, tangerine, airy malts, light bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok if uninspiring ... one of their better offerings.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds notes of damp grains and aged citrus fruits. Light to medium sweet flavour, somewhat alcoholic, with some oily pine, old crackers, bread, grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Harsh finish, with some grass, faded pine, orange rind. Ho hum.

Copper-orange color with white ring. Aroma is sweet fruits. Taste is jam, a bit dry bready character, sweet oily mouthfeel, not very bitter. Rather low carbonation. One-dimensional, but a nice sweet oily fruity IPA!

Burnt orange. The rye spice is so noticeable on the nose. Citra or simcoe hops as well. Oh yeah. Total piney floral citrus taste. Simcoe or chinook? Rye is very well balanced. This is a nice beer.
