Cruising along at 65mph, top down, juicy hops riding shotgun, oats and wheat in the back, and a squashed squirrel on the bumper, this is the flavour-mobile and its number plate reads R0ADK1LL. Put your foot down, enjoy the sunshine haze and leave smooth tire tracks all over your tongue.

Delt med Rune på Mad Squirrel Tap St Albans. Lys appelsinfarget. Uklar. Lavt tett skum. Aroma av tørket tropisk frukt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken søt frukt. Så vidt litt bitterhet i avslutninga.

Can. Nose is citrus, resin hint of petrol Taste is citrus, ripe mango, melon, over pronounced alcohol, resin, pepper, herbal hop. It's OK but the alcohol was poorly intergrated.

Can from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Salford. Hazy dishwater-gold with a small head. Had a huge blast of citrus out of the can when it was breached, and of course there's lots of it in the brew as well, without too much bitterness attached. Its strength gives the IPA a good body.

Hazy golden beer, white head. Bittersweet hoppy fruit smell. Tastes fruity too, a good bittersweet mix with tropic fruit, grassy hop and a nicely balanced finish so it's quite punchy but doesn't have sickly sweetness. Very good.

Hazy pale gold with a small bubbly white head and a subtle aroma of mango and grapefruit. Slightly over-carbonated, with an edgy bitterness and mango tartness to it

Can from Ocado. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Nose is lemon drops, grapefruit, apricot, gooseberry. Taste is a medley of bitter citrus & gooseberry with a bit of kiwifruit thrown in for good measure. Bittersweet mouthfeel. Good.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Murky golden, rich firm head. Aroma of peaches in syrup. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. All about canned peaches in syrup, perhaps some grass and papaya. No bitterness.

440ml can delivered from the Salmon and drunk at home. Light golden and hazy with a ring of white head. Fruity scent of pineapple rings, grapefruit and lemon. Sweet taste with lemon peel and icing sugar. I was expecting a bitterness in the finish but no, it's pretty sweet throughout. Long finish with medoum to heavy carbonation. It's quite good, but a NEIPA by numbers in a way. Surprised by the very high rates.
