Whilst we would not recommend having this at breakfast with your bacon and eggs, our Coffee Beer is made with real coffee and has a caffeine hit to match. The natural flavors of the beans selected and hand roasted by our friends at the Union Coffee Roasters go well with the roast barley in the beer to give a silky-smooth drink with distinct chocolate and vanilla notes

A deep and clear dark brown porter with a super thick moka head. Nice coffee aroma, almost like burned coffee grains and bitter chocolate. In mouth, A smooth moka coffee chocolate in mouth, with light oily notes, roasted malts, very well done and still going strong after more than 1.5 years cellaring. Bottle 3.70$ from Charles St. Liquors. Shared with Probstk.

11.2 oz bottle. Extremely deep black coffee aroma. A little bit of raisin. Pours reddish brown with little head, below average lacing for this style. Tastes almost more like coffee than beer almost. Carbonated coffee, that is. Starts sweet, ends both bitter and sour. Although not bad, I’ve had better coffee beers.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Brown-amber colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Strong coccee and roasted notes. Moderate bitter flavor dominating by not pleasent coffee notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Very roasted. Oily palate. Not my favorite, I dont like cold coffee.

Medium brown with a tan head. Coffee, light roasted malts, cocoa powder, in the aroma. Very nice, actually. Medium body. The flavor is a bit off. If this beer tasted like it smells it would be a much better brew. Burnt coffee, some cocoa, and a bit of roasted malt. It’s just sorta there.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red tinged brown-black color with a trace tan head. The aroma was brewed coffee, light nut and a touch of vanilla. The flavor was strong brewed coffee, nut, caramel and a touch of vanilla. A bit dry and a touch tangy the overall flavor profile reminded me of coffee ice cream. There was a long coffee finish. Medium body. Interesting.

33cl bottle. Clear, mahogany colour with a slightly beige, mid-sized foamy head. Sweet and slightly dusty roast-malty and subtle fruity aroma with distinctive notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Roast-malty taste with quite intense notes of chocolate, accompanied by coffee flavours and traces of dried berries; sweet-bitter roasty finish with notes of coffee and chocolate, also a light alcoholic burn is detectable. 06.X.09

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with minimal head. Aroma smell just like coffee, I don’t really pick up much else. Flavor is a bit acidic from the intense coffee flavor and quite one note.
