[12oz bottle from an Albertsons supermarket, Fullerton, CA.] A straw coloured pour with a thin, scummy looking white head; grainy aroma; smooth sweet grainy taste; and a light grassy bitterness. A nice Kolsch, but unexciting.

On tap at Angels Trumpet Ale House. Golden with a small white head. Light with malt, grass, caramel and some bread. Drinkable but nothing special.

Tap at the brewery taproom. Hazy golden color with very fine-bubbled white head. Citrus, bready, a bit spicy. Light, smooth. Easy to drink. Unspectacular, but a good Kölsch!

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours dark gold with a slight white head. Aroma of fruit - might include citrus - a hint of breadiness. Med body. Flavor has fruit suggesting apricot, some citrus, and some breadiness. More flavor than many a kolsch. Pretty drinkable.

[2/21/15] Draught at Winter Brew Fest 2015 in San Diego. Clear golden. Aroma of grainy malt and a light noble hops note. Sweetish flavor, grainy, bready, with a slightly bitterish finish. Light-bodied.
