From bottle at Mout Bierfestival Nijmegen 2020. Rather sweet with an aroma of candied citrus and some malt. Bit floral, almost soapy. Too much sweetness. Medium body. Not impressed.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of orange and lemon, some mandarine, tangerine, slightly biscuity, pale malty background. Taste is bitter, zesty, citrusy fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, minimally sugary, pale malty, notes of lemon, lemon drops, some orange, mandarine, orange zest, tangerine, grapefruit. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Rather condensed and intense, but also quite restricted citrusy flavours.

Three weeks old. Appearance: foggy gold with a moderate white head of average retention. Aroma: solid malts, candied citrus fruit, honey, sugary water melon, white wine. Taste: medium sweet, malty, candied citrus, white wine. Flat ending. Palate: medium to full body. Soft to average carbonation. Summary. One-dimensional. Disappointing finish.
