50cl swing top bottle. Pours hazy bright golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of phenolic fruits, yeast, some ripe banana. Taste of medium sweet bananas, yeast, phenols, nothing special.

0.5 l bottle from ’Akzenta’ (Barmen), best before February 2017. Hazy, straw yellow with a medium large, fluffy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of banana, cloves, wheat and pear. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of banana, cloves, wheat and pear, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay!

Hazy yellow-orange color with big white head. Aroma is bananas and a bit sourish, lemony. Taste is surprisingly sweet, a bit bubble gum, a bit tart. Weizen texture. A bit below average for a Weizen. Too sweet. Still drinkable.

Bottle: Cloudy to milky, pale-golden, mid-sized and slowly collapsing White head; sweetish-wheaty - plus dust - nose with a distinctive lemony touch; sweet - more than sourish - flavour, including a well hidden bitter touch, light to medium bodied, quite smooth; sweet fruity-wheaty finish, heavily subdued acidity, but some yeasty flavours detectable. A bit on the sweet side, but still drinkable...

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big and loose foamy white head. Dusty aroma with bready malt and a little wheat, accompanied by overripe fruits, banana and phenolic spices. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Bready malty and slightly wheaty taste with notes of banana; bready and slightly papery finish with mildly clovy phenols. No highlight. 09.IX.14

Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty-yeasty, not too dry. Fruity hints of apricot. Finish milder, less intense. Okay.

Pale straw in the glass. The nose is fresh, yeasty with hints of sourness. The beer itself starts smooth, fresh and sweetish. In the mainpart there is a sharp and metallic bitterness, that doesn’t really fit into the picture. Only hints of banana, lots of clove. But somehow sharp and unround. The aftertaste is on the one hand smooth, fresh, clove-sweetish but on the other hand there is that sharp and unround metallic aroma.
Without that taste it would be very nice. 9/11/8/8
