Slightly hazy golden and lightly copper coloured body with some bubbles rising from the bottom and a thin, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of grass, funky malt, cardboard, light alcohol, nuts and even a touch of oats noticeable. Light-bodied; Strong funky malt flavours at first with a pungent brightness, mostly from grasses, but also from some astringent bitterness with hops evident soon after the sip. Aftertaste shows some lighter grasses and smoother malts along with a pleasant bitterness and some citrus flavours to finish it all off. Overall, a nice and refreshing beer with some good flavours and some pungency, but in a decent way throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Meijer in Woodhaven, Michigan on 08-December-2016 for US$10,99/twelve pack, sampled at home in Washington on 29-April-2017.

Bottle. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy strange mango aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate and way too fizzy.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow golden color, medium to full sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, some herbs or spices, sweetish. Average body and carbonation. Meh, weird, don’t like it.

Fonefan 191214. Golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop, apple. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, apple, grain, grass. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Clear medium golden colour, good frothy white head, diminishes slowly, thick layer remains, good lacing. Sweet malty aroma, grain, vegetables, grass, hint of lemon. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, medium dry bitter finish, bit spicy, decent.

Hazy golden-orange color with nice white head. Aroma is fresh, a bit fruity, yeasty. Definitely top-fermented I?d say. Taste is grainy-malty, spicy, a bit fruity. Fresh. Okay, but meh. Kölsch? Might just as well be a boring Saison.
