I don't usually pay 1.19€ for an Altbier, but this one looked so fancy I had to. Pretty good.

beautiful appearance of dark amber to chestnut colour and huge, creamy beige-ish ecru head which lasts forever; aroma and taste of toffee, nutty, some honey, fruity, toasted rye bready and even some cocoa notes; very good altbier

From bottle. Caramel, toffee, metal, citrus, dry hops. Hoppy metallic bitterness, some sweetness. Medium bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, metallic bitter malty finish.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours an almost clear caramel brown colour with a large thick throthy off white head. Aromas of caramel, grains and toasty brown bread. Taste is fairly sweet at first with more caramel, grains and toasty brown bread with added nuts and a little roasted malt on the finish. Taste sways between sweet and bitter. Medium body, average carbonation and oily mouthfeel. Getting better the more i drink. I am fairly new to this Altbier style. Quite decent

Optisch rotbraun, in der Nase malzig, Karamell, setzt sich im Trunk fort, dann mittig bis spät bitter, sehr malzig, passt.
