(Keg at Põhja Konn, 20260217) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, grass, dark fruits and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, molasses, dark fruits, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had toasted malts, molasses and bitterness. Good.. Some weird fruity notes.

Keg at Hop & Hen aka Mikkeller Viru. Aroma is low key - dark fruit, malts and berries. Opaque ruby red. The translucent white head retreats to the rim sharpish. Medium bitter with a sweet streak. Malts and dark fruits and molasses. Rye bread. Boozy bitter edge. Medium bodied. Oily. Sticky. Long somewhat astringent finish. Lovely warming pudding of a beer.

Can 44 cl. ours a clear, nutty brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of sweet, burned, caramalized sugars, odd, slight tartness. Medium body only, low carbonation. Very, very sweet and caramellish. Lacks body. 300321
