This completely dark, almost black stout simply enchants. We used an intensely roasted malt which gives the beer a pleasant coffee note and a taste of dark, noble chocolate.

Shared with Igor. Black, strong brown head, diminishing and leaving no lacing. Aroma is malts, coffee and chocolate, classic. Very dry and serious, bitter chocolate flavors. Chocolate bitterness develops, begins to resemble coffee. Generally speaking it’s not for everyone’s taste, but it’s very good for mine!

Bottle, 0.33l. Pitch black color with thin creamy brown head and poor lacing. Strong aroma of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste starts with mild sweet roasted malt, following is sour grassy and coffeeish, mouthfeel is spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Unfortunatelly, way too sour for a stout, resembles more of some average dunkel...

On tap at Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015. Shared with Marko. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, distinct coffee nose. Roasted malt, coffee, chicory and whiff of smoke with mild bitter roasty finish. Drinkable.

Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015, shared with Ogivlado (thanks!). Poured a black body with a light tan head. Chicory, slightly smokey aroma. Thin chicory taste, slightly sweet, vaguely jammy. Ok enough, a bit thin though.

Darker brown to black colored, darker tan small head, only a ring. Aroma is of chocolate and roasted malt with some roasted acidity. Taste is low sweet chocolate, some roasted malt and coffee but also too much acidity. Low to medium bodied and low carbonation. Early stages of infection unfortunately.
