A collaboration between Mikkeller, WarPigs and Seven Island (from Greece) It is an Imperial Stout (12.5%), based on the idea of Mikkel's Beer Geek series, and using Greek ingredients: - coffee (from Cafetierra roastery based on Corfù island) - Mahleb from Thessaloníki (the insides of Greek wild cherries, which has a nice but peculiar fruity taste, a blend of spices, cherry and almond) - Carob flour from Chios Island (can be described as a Mediterranean substitute for Cocoa)

From tap at BrewDog Tallinn. Roasted malt aroma with chocolate, coffee, caramel. Medium sweet, light bitter flavour. Full body, rich stuff.

Draught@TCBW2022. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is nutty, some chocolate, alcohol, mild coconuts with some toffee too. Flavour is toasted malts, coconuts, some alcohol, mild chocolate, syrup and some almonds, cherries and mild fudge.

Tap at TCBW. Opaque colour and tiny beige head. Sweetish, nutty aroma with loads of booze. Medium-bodied. Toasted, coconutty, not so much booze in the flavour. Ok.

Tap MBCC 2022 Blue Session. Poured almost black in colour with a frothy round tan head. The aroma is roasty malt and cinnamon. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liqourice bitter, with a smooth, dry, roasty, herbal, liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared with Bernt and Johan at Vaaland Bryghuus 29.08.21. Ebony. Fine brown head. Aroma and taste roasted malt, pine, coconut, freshly roasted coffee and creosote. Excellent!

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is coffee, meaty, chocolate, caramel, taste is similar, bitter, dry.

Bottle from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Christ I hate wax caps,ouch 🗡 🤕! Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, raisin, sweet tobacco, dessicated coconut. Taste is boozy fruitcake, sweet tobacco, black cherries, cinammon, coffee. Sweet warming alcohol. Improves with every sip.

Svart med brunt skum. Lukter kaffe, alkohol og røstet malt. Maple sirup og kaffe i smak.
