Draught, half pint. @Artbeerfest 2024, Caminha. 12/07/2024 [#7.538 Global - #12 Latvia - #1 Alus Darbnica Labietis (My Brewery #5 from Latvia)] Pours reddish with almost no head. Aroma: blackcurrant, lactic yoghurt, kinda strange mint. Taste: gotta hate this kind of strange mint flavour. Blackcurrants and lactic mouthfeel. Next one, please!

Draught@TCBW2022. Reddish amber colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is blackcurrant, some mild tart berryish tones with mild herbs and some slight wooden tones. Flavour is berries, some tart wood, mild herbs and almost some tannin like dry elements. Nicely dry palate, and highly drinkable 3.5 % beer!

Smell- medium strong, blackcurrant juice, herbal, berry, decent. Foam- thin, sour, berry, black currant-ish. Foam is medium, to small, pink color. Appearance- a bit hazy, red, pink color, very carbonated. Taste- sour, but not too much, blackcurrant, berry, juicy, carbonated. Not my type, but could be worse.

On tap at Labietis brewpub Cant get much in the nose of this one. Pours an opaque raspberry red with minimal head. In the mouth it is fruity and sour but in a good way. Blackberries raspberries and overripe plums. The sharpness lingers at the finish. Much nicer than I was expecting. Not a classic Berliner, but all the better for it.
