(bottle) Hazy and murky golden coloured body with many yeast floaties and a small foamy layer. Yeasty and sweet malty aroma with citrus peel and dense note of glue. Bittersweet flavour, medium body, moderate carbonation. Initially sweetbitter malty taste, yeasty with a touch of caramel, sweet malty and slightly hopped finish. Really exotic brew (Dutch-Bavarian joint-venture), but not very convincing.

golden lager with german hops and chlaky notes. Sweet malt with nice crisp character, good german hops and some honey. Not bad. May 1,2005 at 2nd KBC Festival, Den Bosch, NL.

Draught Clear dark gold; white head, leaving some lace. Green leaves smell, as from Buxus or Ligustrum , some grain too. Dry grains taste, with a pinch of caramel, sweetish and a spicey, peppery finish. Excellent balance! Medium at best, but the alcohol is there. This is rather remarkable. Where they went to fetch this Bavarian brewery is anybody’s guess, but it made no small difference, IMO.

Dutch ratebeer meeting. Hazy golden coloured, small yeast particles, dying head. Aroma of pineapple-like, herbal, muffy. Pineapple-like taste. I don't like pineapple.
