Bottle: Golden, a bit unclear, medium-sized - slowly collapsing off-white head; moderate to robust sweet honeyish and grainy nose with a very distinctive spicy "woody2 background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet malty and hoppy finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Good and tasty - does anyone really believe that this HELLER BOCK is a LANDBIER..........?????

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and minerals, leading to a dry mineralic finish. Boring aroma, but odd with a 7.5% ABV Landbier.

Bottle, 7.5%. Hazy golden colour, very small white head. Quite alcoholic flavour, some marcipan and alcohol bitterness. Semi-high carbonation. Too rough and unpolished for my liking.

(Bottle 30 cl) Courtesy of MiP. Slightly hazy golden with a nice, dense, white head. Clean, lightly sweet malt aroma. Ratker full-bodied with clean, sweet malts and a slightly dominating alcohol in the finish where also a rather raw bitterness shows. Quite strong for a Landbier. 180807

33 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange to yellow with a white creamy head. Wheaty aroma. Flavour is not that wheaty but has a creamy texture and is a bit like a belgian witbier, mild and mellow with a slight spiced note (very minor). Caramelish and hoppy into the finish. Nice.
