Bottle 0,30ltr: Golden coloured brew with an quite sweet taste, and there is not much bitternesh. And bitternesh is whats Grolsch beers al about.

The new beer of 2002. A bit fruity. Hopbitter taste and finish. Dryer than the years before. Re-rate: 2003 vintage. new recipe: I had to lower the rate considerably. This beer had gained sweetness and has lost hopbitterness and, especially, character. Sweet flavor, sticky and not much more. Still OK to drink, though.

Fles gedronken in Oirschot. Het heeft een helder goudgele kleur met een stevig wit schuim. Het heeft een citrusachtige geur. De smaak is graag achtig en citrus achtig.

Bottom-fermented industrial spring bock with golden blonde colour and rocky head. Sweet and malty, malt fruitiness, citrus touch, aromatically hoppy finish, quite refreshing, but the sweetness stays. Typical example of a style I have nothing against.

kom erachter dat er 2 entries voor zijn, maar deze in de periode voor 2011 zeker wel gedronken te hebbende, alsnog rating toegevoegd. helder geel/gouden met schuimige witte kraag, vlakt snel af aroma: floraal, zoet, citrus, gras smaken: meium zoet, licht bitter, citrus, koriander, zachte smaken, matig kruidig licht-medium body, hoog co2, zoetig niet bijzonder --- Beer merged from original tick of Lentebok (2012) on 18 May 2018 at 15:18 - Score: 4

What do they have to make this lentebok beers so sweet? It reminds me way too much of lemonade. Fortunately, Grolsch realised this as well and improved the recipe a bit.

Brown 30cl bottle, best before Oct 2007, drank July 2007. Poured into a Palm Tulip glass. Typical light amber colour expected with a spring (lent) bok, good white head sits on top. Very little aroma, slightly sweet toffee apple smell, but nothing much. Sweet, caramel and candy, almost sickly sweet. The sweetness stays, mixed with an alcohol aftertaste, which isn’t my idea of a great mouthfeel. This was a big disappointment, not what I was expecting at all, far to sweet.
