For our Chameleon series we create a classic American Pale Ale using Maris Otter with a touch of Vienna malt, we bitter using whole leaf Columbus hops, add Citra to the kettle after boil and then dry hop after fermentation with the best hops we can get our hands on, for this iteration we feature Idaho 7, a newer American hop with aromas of tropical fruit, with hints of pine and black tea.

Yellow colour with light haze and solid head. There's an interesting aroma and flavour that has something of Pot Pourri with its floral elements and a touch of dried citrus peel.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a fresh, crisp, light, slightly watery, juicy citrus, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

Can from the brewery online shop. Appearance - cloudy golden yellow. Snow white head. Nose - citrus, pine and light tropical. Taste - lemon or grapefruit, going into melon and pineapple. Light pine/resin note but not too intrusive. Palate - light bodied, fairly balanced bitterness. Overall - pleasant enough!
