For Beer : Barrel : Time 2018, we chose a blend of our stout recipes that consisted of O.W.K. aged in Willett Bourbon barrels for 20 months, … (Ellipses) aged in Heaven Hill barrels for 23 months and Derivation Blend #3 aged in Knob Creek barrels for 17 months. Whereas BBT 2017 spent a little less time in barrel, the additional average age for the 2018 blend let the rich chocolate and sweet coconut notes of the beer and oak come forward a bit more, resembling some of the older, non-adjunct Derivation Blends.

Lepsze niz 2017, wiecej ciala, wiecej beczki, nieco tez stety czy niestety destylatu. Ryli klasa. Czekolada. Orzechy. Ale beczka dominuje. Slodziak. Ale solidnie nutki utlenienia tez, nie wiem jak to mozliwe. Za to fajnego, pumperniklowego. 4.4-

Bottle thanks to Anthony. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong roast, vanilla, bourbon, oak. Slick body, velvet, cocoa, vanilla, oak, bourbon, very smooth, balanced, impressive.

Thnx to Bryan ! Pours intensely black , tiny dark ring of head. Smell is rich, bit boozy, bourbon, oak, fairly complex, small notes of vanilla. Taste is full, intense, warm ( bit boozy ) , bourbon, intense roastyness, complex dark malts, vanilla, chocolate; very mild coffee. Mild ashy ( not smokey ! ) very nice indeed !
