Can. A clear looking chestnut colored beer with a creamy beige head. The aroma has roasted malts, dark chocolate and coffee hins, some dark dried fruit and dark bread. It's medium bodied and semi-dry, softly carbonated and with a very gentle bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee grit and some dark dried fruit in the flavor, with a touch of dark bread. Some nutty hints towards the finish. Medium length finish. sure decent but also a bit dull. Suffers from the rather low ABV. 240706

330ml can @Hunter bar, Bodø airport. Brown-reddish body, patches, no head. Tobacco, toffee, rye, hints of dates and prunes. A bit on the thin side, and I would have loved more spices, taste and warmth, as it called a 'Julebayer'...

330 ml can, as Bådin Beiarn Julebayer, from Joker Vatlandsvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Deep reddish brown colour, moderate beige head. Moderate malty aroma, faint hints of caramel and red berries. Malty flavour, not too sweet, notes of brown bread, hints of brittle and dark fruits. Fairly refreshing.
