Puzzle Palace is a blend of multiple base beers, including a 1, 2, and 3 year blend of traditional, lambic-inspired beer and components from multiple spontaneous solera vessels. After the blend is made, it is allowed to rest with a mild dry hop of a mix of both new and old-world hops, with varieties selected for the unique sensory characteristics of each batch. Deeply complex and flavorful, yet balanced, Puzzle Palace shows notes of stone fruit, berry, hay, lemon zest, and herbs, along with a mild to moderate acidity and delicate, airy mouthfeel.

Taste from a magnum at a share. Pours a hazy, yellow color with a big, frothy, off-white head. The nose is lemon zest, light attic funk, green apples, and oaked chardonnay. Dry and quite tart and acidic. Simple, clean, and quality.

Medium, fast gone snowwhite head over fully hazy yellow-orange beer. Quite lactic, barnyard, aromatic green fruit, passion fruit. Sour, lactic, fruitacids, some peach or apricot. Acidthinning, dry-out effect leaving light to medium body. Qutie slick all the same. Sorry flavour profile guys, funk is not yet a flavour in my book. Not bad, but a gueuze...? Txs to whomever brought this along.

Magnum at VVvVVVV. Pours unclezr blonde, small white head. Smell is dry, tart, woody, mild hoppy, funky. Taste is full, tart, funky, dry, bit hoppy ( aroma more than bitterness). Decent.

Draught @ Black Project, Denver, CO. As Puzzle Palace 004. Funky, sour and tart fruity with some tropical notes, wood, farmyardy notes, citrus and grapefruit. Complex and funky.
