DESCRIPTION
This is Baller. An IPA. We took everything we’ve learnt about making IPAs and put it into this beer. Lots of hops, big bright flavours, smooth body. It’s our go-to IPA.
Goes well with big livin’ and splashing out.
This is Charlie. He’s a Gipsy Hill co-founder. He likes city life and fast pedalling.

Keg at the Merchant, Canary Wharf, 31/07/19. Almost clear golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is bitter orange, light pine needle, ripe melon, mixed citric zest. Taste comprises melon, weed, ripe tropical fruit, mango, pine needle, grass, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close cloaked with lightly aggressive hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

The Merchant. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and has a nice fine crispness. Smooth light malts, mild creamy sweetness. Pine. Crisp light citrus. Traces of citrus peel and mild mango. Crisp finish. Very nice and very drinkable.

Can at home. Hazy a bit pale yellow color, medium sized white head. Aroma is lightly malts, lightly citrus, lightly tropical fruit, quite some old school hops. Flavor is malts, hops, old school hops, a good hoppy bitterness. Medium body, suitable decent to medium carbonation. I really like this one. Very enjoyable. 9-3-9-4-18.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cloudy amber pour with a billowing white head, falling back quickly to a thin covering; lemon sherbert aroma; soft and creamy in the mouth to start, but then developing lots of citrus flavours; lemon first, then under-ripe grapefruit giving a lip pursing finish.

330ml can from Beer 52: BB 5th Jan 2020. Drank at home on 20th May 2019. Cloudy yellow pour, thin white collar and wispy topping. Mixed tropical fruit smoothy with a lemon lead in both the aroma and taste.

Tap at Taphouse, CPH. Pours hazy yellow.golden. Aroma and flavor are hoppy, fruity, dry, citrus, pineapple. Feels quite bland, not baller at all.
