This is a liquid banana toffee chocolate über dream. A beverage that is beyond anything and everything imaginable. Double deluxe with extra everything on top and a side order of more more more. Infinity!
Sometimes you need to go a little overboard. Well, we do at least. Then again… there’s overboard and then there’s overboard. Let’s say we went Dugges style overboard with this one. So, what does that mean? Well, it means that we’ve made an as balanced beer as you can make while getting it to taste like bananas, toffee and chocolate. We felt we just had to try it. Like, could it be done? Turns out, it could! It can!

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours dark, tan head. Big vibrant nose of banana foam sweets, chocolate, toffee. Taste is big on the banana foam sweet front, chocolate thankfully coming forth with toffee by its side. Have to say I'm not a fan of the artificial banana flavouring here, though the rest is fine. Smooth, indulgent palate, but i feel it would be a much more enjoyable beer without the banana.

Flightbricka på Örebro Ölhall. Kolsvart utan någon egentligen krona. Oerhört mycket banankola och Banana Skids i doften. Stor och tung kropp. Samma i smaken med mycket choklad och lakrits därtill. Blir kanske lite obalanserad och kan sakna lite finess, men helt ok.

Draught @ Brewskival 2019, Helsingborg, Sweden. Sweet, sticky and syrupy with some banana, vanilla and chocolate notes, hints of toffee and roastiness. Okay.

This one is just what they claim it should be. Banana, toffee and chocolate. No need for something extra for dessert. This one is just enough. Nice evening sipper or as a dessert. Fine balanced sweetness and a well masked alcohol. [Bottle from BottleShop: Bermondsey in London, England]

05/04/2019 - bottle from Barboteur. Black with tanned head; Nose is dark malts, carmel, banana. Taste is dark malts, chocolate, caramel, sweet banana, creamy feel. Fun.

Bottle from the Star and Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a beige head. Aromas of banana toffee,caramel, raisin. Flavours of banana toffee, marzipan, chocolate wafer. Reminds me of banana Toffos which was my favourite flavour as a kid and that piece of nostalgia bumps the score up considerably. Lovely.

Bottle picked up from Brewdog Oxford and consumed at home Sunday 16th December 2018. If ever there was a beer that the label so accurately describes what you are drinking then this is it. Chocolate on the nose with banana but in the mouth this is banana toffeeness all the way, in fact it really is like drinking those banana toffee disc sweets you had as a kid. Pours black with a beige head. Good beer, however becomes a tad gimmicky after a while. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

From bottle. Dark brown to black color with beige brown head. Malty aroma, huge banana, toffee, caramel, light chocolate. Heavy sweet banana taste again. Full silky oily body with soft carbonation.
