More restrained than the tropical Bay Bitter the crisp, citrus hops go really well with food. Try this with a mildly spicy indian meal or, ideally, a long summer barbecue.

29/7/2022. Cask at The Harwich Redoubt Beer Festival 2022. Pours clear pale golden with a bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, straw. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light tart edge. Moderate body, slightly oily, soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Light haze on this gold beer. Residual white head. Light semi dry palate. Good marmaladey hop - bitterish. Finishes smooth and semi dry with just a trace of smoke revealing itself.
