A traditional mild made with pale malt, mild malt and roast barley, and lightly hopped with Fuggles and Goldings,. Sales of this style of beer, once a staple of agricultural workers, has been in decline for many years prompting CAMRA to set aside May as mild month in order to promote interest in this type of beer.

Warning! Early amateur rating! On tap at the Sun Inn, Kelvedon. Fruity and zesty start with a distinct smoky finish. Pretty drinkable.
