Vallila Gose on raikas perinteitä kunnioittava saksalaistyylinen hapanolut. Sen resepti pohjautuu Gose-joen varrella syntyneen oluttyylin 1900-luvulle tyypilliseen yhdistelmään: vehnää, ohraa, hiivaa, korianteria ja suolaa. Happamoitettu laktobasillilla. Makumaailmaa hallitsee merisuola ja runsas sitruksisuus. Lisäksi paletista löytyy yrttisyyttä, ohutta öljyisyyttä sekä hapanjuurileipää. Vallilan gose virkistää kuin napakka merituuli autolautan kannella.

Bottled (from Pieni Olutpuoti Humala, Pori). Hazy yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is fruity, salty, some tart floral and wooden elements. Flavour is floral, herbal, fruity, salty and some strange farmyardy/earthy tones too.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear deep golden, small head. Citric lemon aroma. Sweet and sour with light to medium body a and clean mouthfeel. Citric and really salty. Citric acid, salt and chlorine. No bitterness.

[ As Vallilan Vallila Gose ].
ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grain, sweet malt, wheat, fruity - citrus, berries, light salty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, earthy, berries, salty - sea salt, grain, light citrus - lemon. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20211128]

Smell of citrus, berries, salt. Mud colour, short white head. Aroma of berries, earth, salt, yeast, finishes malty. Odd combo. Medium sour, lightly salty. Flat carbon.

Bottle at home, Nivala. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavors: Some sourness and wheat, some strawberries? and malts.

Bottled 330ml (Humala)
Golden colour, tiny white head. Citrus, malts, saltyness in the nose. Light-bodied. Citrusy tartness, light coriander, salt, pale malts in the flavour. At least it is a beer you can call Gose, not just funny name to modern sour beer.

Light, funky, sour. Some herbal notes, flooded basement, salt, honey-like sweetness. Not pleasant.
