Rijdend over de N11 kan je Julius Albanicus die je op het etiket ziet niet ontgaan. De stoere Romeinse grenswachter bewaakt hier de Limes grens. De Limes grens is de grenslijn van het noordelijk Romeinse rijk die door heel Europa en delen van Azië en Afrika ging.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orange, amber colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, mellow malty and slightly fruity, hopy aroma, hints of yellow stone fruit, apricot, peach, quince..., some mandarine, some honey. Taste is mellow malty, mildly bitter, fruity hoppy and yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy, hints of mandarine, yellow stone fruit, some honey sweetness, some zesty bitterness, orange peel, peppery spicy overtones. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice composition, balanced, harmonious, maybe a tad too sweet - decent.

Hazy golden with a white head. Citrus aroma with some coriander and malty breadiness. Sweet taste with a medium bitter finish. Proper Belgian blonde.
