Very slightly hazy straw-coloured beer with a frothy white head and a fruity aroma, with mango and maybe grapefruit in ascendence. Very easy drinking, if perhaps a little thin, with the same fruity flavours apparent, but juicier and a soft underlying bitterness.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a generous frothy white head and good lacing. There’s an aroma of soft citrus here – possibly jaffa orange or tnagerine. The main sensation in the mouth is of the sweet juicyness There are tropical fruits, lemongrass and floral hops in the flavour. Sweetness remains in the finish. This is really rather nice - a simple beer done very well.
