dark brown color. Light brown. Chocolate, coffee and Nobel hops in the nose. Light body, medium roastiness, low medium bitterness. Not much depth. . It’s not bad
But less sweet. Malty of course. Softer

Baeren Dunkel Non-Filtered 5% Reddish brown with a wispy light beige foam. Soft malty aroma while this medium bodied beer is super soft and finishes very crisp and dry. Malt forward and somewhat more complex.

Bottle, mail order from the brewery in the special autumn set. Fruity, chocolate, caramel malt nose, hints of sultana, grapes, light apple. Deep brown with orange tints and seemingly hazy, with a thick, pretty head. Rich, deep cocoa flavor, with caramel, toasted rye bread. Richer flavor than the filtered one, and much nicer, fuller body. Finish is toast with a bit of chocolate nut spread on it. Satisfying, moreso without filtration.
