WCBイチの食いしん坊、“Crispi Boi”
大好物のホップを食べ過ぎて、気づけば倉庫の中身は、ほぼ空っぽに。。。どうにか残っていたSaaz(ザーツ) を使い、歴史深いチェコの手法で作ったビールがこれだー！！
優しいモルトの香りには、ほのかなレモンやバナナのアロマ。レモングラスのようなハーブ感と、丸みのある口当たりでライトボディ。後口の微かな苦みで飲み応えもUP。
伝統を守り、新しきを追求する。これも、WCBスタイル。ホップ爆食い&ビールがぶ飲みスタイルで、年末まで駆け抜けましょう🍻
We skipped the Festbier train this year. Like, Japan just isn’t there yet. But man were we thirsty. So we got a little selfish and set aside a jacketed stainless wonder to roll super crispi liquid elixirs. Can you say Czech Pils Paradise? Some of this was timing (can’t make too many #clearbeer and crispi goodies right now, must…make…hazies /shrug), but mostly it was waiting for Ced (our resident French dude) to get his cookbook in proper order. Pushing trad style with just enough Saaz hops to satiate his monstrous appetite, Crispi Boi (sexy white working shoes kgo) has just the right amount of lemongrass / herbal nuance, a touch of lemon / banana on the nose and a super light body to accentuate hop bitterness and max out the Crispiness Quotient. Yes that’s a thing.

Can at Gifu Beer Festival. Deep gold. Bready malt nose, light hops, simple. Decent malt flavor, did not seem super fresh, hops were on the light side. OK but I was a bit disappointed.

Nice. Similar to the mojiko helles. Maybe a bit more of a Czech feel. Not sure about the elevated price but it’s good.

WCB Crispy Boi czech Pils 6% Straw gold nice herbal hop bouquet and medium body with slightly tangy chewy malts and a crisp herbal bite in the finish. Pretty nice. Tap @ Yellow Ape in Odona
