Italian style grape ale by a Polish client brewer, thanks Meeki for sharing. Off-white, medium sized, open, bubbly head dissolving over a hazy peach blonde beer with pale brownish tinge. Aroma of white grapes indeed but not very exuberantly so, cooked apple, fried cherry tomatoes, sourdough, unripe peach, salted Coeur de Boeuf, dry hay, rhubarb, some rusty oxidation already setting in. Fruity onset, very grape-forward indeed, sweet and sour, but flanked by tomato-, stewed rhubarb-- and apple peel-like impressions as well; medium carb, slender body with drying fruit acidity at its edges and a bready core in the middle. Fruit-juicy finish, white grape again but apple as well, slight earthy note. Clearly a grape ale, but the grapes get heavy competition from other fruit impressions too, even though only grapes were used; there is a fruit-sour touch, but sweetness does maintain the upper hand all the way through, more so than I am used to from a grape ale. In all, rather atypical for its intended style, but all the more interesting for it.

7/I/22 - 33cl bottle @ Wim VL’s place, BB: 1/IX/22 (2022-40) Thanks for sharing the bottle!
Clear peach orange pink beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: weird, malty, coffee, apple sauce, very weird. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of apple juice, sweet, sugary, bit oxidized, weird. Aftertaste: malty, sweet, apple juice, grains, cow fodder, sickening sweet, overripe fruits, weird, very mediocre…
