Tap at the brewery tap potten end. A dark black coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is toasted nut, liquorice cocoa, chocolate powder, nutty malts, some lactose sweetness. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, oat milk, mellow earthy roast, toasted nuts, coco. Palate is semi sweet, light, moderate carbonation.

Keg at MS HW, 03/02/21. Light black with a decent tan head. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, peanut butter, light ashen tones. Taste comprises chocolate, roasted bite, light charr, raisins, nutty twang, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Tidy enough stout.

440ml can from Mad Squirrel, High Wycombe. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a roasty malt, earthy, light smoky palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. No sweetness at all. This is supposed to be a milk stout. Really disappointing.
