Very dark brown colored, medium+ frothy to creamy beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is of malt, caramel, some toffee, bit of dried fruit, woody, some tobacco. Taste is medium to very sweet malt, toffee and caramel, some dried fruity notes, wood, tobacco, light chocolate, medium herbal bitterness, bittersweet finish with some alcohol and light warmth, bitter aftertaste. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, oily. More bitterness than you'd expect from a Wee heavy. (bottle, ZaPopent, Ljubljana)

Bottle. Pours dark nutty brown. Small white head fades fast. Smell is sweet, very malty, toffee, chocolate, earthy. Taste is full, malty, sweet, toffee up front, some milder but very present caramel and chocolatyness. Relatively high bitterness for the style, but it suits the beer perfectly. Creamy body, rather low Carbo. Very nice.

Ein Souvenir vom Craftbier-Fest 2018 in Wien und das erste aus einer 3er-Packung Spezialbiere der Brauerei. Es handelt sich um ein ordentliches, vollmundiges Stout, wie man es sich wünscht. Zu den klassischen Malzaromen gesellen sich feine Kuchenaromen, Lebkuchen und dunkle Schokolade. Es ist sicher nichts für schwache Gaumen, da es nicht nur vom Alkoholgehalt ordentlich reinhaut. Aber bei den fein abgestimmten Geschmäckern ist es eine Freude, dass es so vollmundig ist.
