Tap from Sommar, Waterloo Street, Brum. Its decent but I was a little underwhelmed compared to some of their beers. Quite sweet raspberry and vanilla, some tartness and creaminess on a grainy backdrop. Smooth, slightly drying.

Tap at Sommar Bar Waterloo Street, Brum. Sweet aroma combines fruit and vanilla icecream. Opaque blood orange in colour. Thin creamy white head. Raspberry tartness alongside vanilla icecream sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.

Draught keg at Sommar Leicester. Reddish golden, clear with a tiny film of white head. Strawberry aroma, some vanilla ice cream notes, fairly basic stuff. Comes together a bit more in the taste with the tart fruit showing more as promised raspberry. The initial sourness is drowned out by a dessert sweetness in the finish. Light body and low carbonation. Decent, and certainly more than the sum of its parts, but one of the weaker Sommar beers I've tried.

Keg at Sommar tap, Waterloo St Bingohame, 12/02/22. Fruit smoothie orange with a good sized off white covering. Nose is manfo puree, sweet malts, sugars, faint lactic notes, peach. Taste comprises perfume, mango pulp, grass, melon, light vanilla raspberry ripple effect. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable affair ... overly sweet for my liking.

Half at Sommar Canalside. Hazy, murky amber pour, thin persistent head. Fruity aroma with milky notes. Taste is a huge fruit smoothie of a beer, stone fruit, apricot, sweet milk sugar. Thick, juicy, creamy. These guys have it dialed in.
