Can from the Boise Co-Op. Golden pour with a nice white head. Aroma is rich with citrus and piney hops, lightly floral. I’m enjoying the pilsner malt and how it integrates with the deep lingering citrus, piney and floral bitterness. Very crisp.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear golden pour with a thick, foamy white head. Malty, grainy, bready aroma. Taste brings a splash of citrus and tropical fruit, sweet, then dry, brisk bitter bite. A bit sticky. Overall it is kind of mellow, but the flavors kind of sneak up on you.

473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a medium, thick, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of crackery pale malt, orange, tangerine, mango, cantaloupe, peach and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of crackery pale malt, orange, grapefruit rind, pineapple, mango, peach, cantaloupe, papaya and pine resin in a dry, bitter grass finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Juicy, smooth and even with the elevated ABV, easy to drink.

Poured from the tap. Golden blonde with small white head. Bright citrus hops with lupulin finish. Simple, well done.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, 2/16/21, 4 months old
Blond colour, hazy. Mild aroma, stone fruit, hops, malt. It's mellow, mildly sweet, actually sweeter than the few local Cold IPAs I tried before; it's not very fresh, but it's elegant, and it just comes across like an excellent modern IPA, rather than like a whole new concept.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of latex, strawberry, tangerine, guava, orange creamsicle, crackery malt. Pours hazy golden with a one finger bleach white head with excellent retention. Taste has a high pithy bitterness backed by some light to moderate candy sweetness; lots of juicy hop character. Although I think it’s fucking stupid that they’re trying to brand this as some new kind of IPA (it’s an IPL!!!), this is a really tasty beer.
