Every beer that goes into our lager-only foeder takes on a different character. This edition is no exception. Using a total of 75kg of raw honey from two of our favourite local apiaries – Tees Bees and Gull Lake Honey – this delicious beverage has a wonderfully sweet honey start, that quickly is surrounded by oak and vanilla as it dries away for an incredibly clean finish. With a colour of brilliant copper and mouthfeel that is all kinds of smooth, this quaff is perfect for relaxing by the fire after a rigorous canoe trip. Or whatever else you need to do as you climb out of winter’s grasp.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy copper-amber with a small, creamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted grainy malt, honey, oak and a hint of nuts. Sweet flavour of toasted grainy malt, honey, vanilla, oak and bitter grass in a crisp, dry finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Malt-forward, tasty and nicely done.
