355ml can. (7.1% ABV) Pours an opaque dark brown, almost black with a thin, creamy, short lived, tan head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet, spicy aroma of roasted malt, cocoa, chili pepper, cinnamon and light vanilla. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, lactose, dark chocolate, cinnamon, chili pepper, ash and vanilla in a dry, mild bitter, coffee finish. Medium body with a smooth, creamy texture and flat carbonation. Flavourful, but a little thin and the nitro was absent. Probably better on tap.

Dark brown. Medium head. Roasty, chocolatey, nice body. Touch of chile, and lots of chocolate. Still, it's a bit thin, which for this type of beer is pretty close to being a deal breaker. This concept has been done better - there's some good flavours here but the structure is wanting.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours black with a huge tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast, with lots of spicy peppers, some cinnamon and dry cocoa. Flavour is a rather jumbled melange of spices, with plenty of harsh chili peppers, some burnt cinnamon and dry cocoa. Very dry, lacking dynamics in the mouthfeel and falls generally flat. Not very invigorating.
