A super amount of tropical Guava fuse with sourness, and a balancing wheat finish. Catharina Sour is a kettle sour style from South America, that spawned from fusion of home-brewers' and pro-brewers' ideas. Kind of up our alley! Think of it as a stronger Berliner Weisse re-fermented with a boat load of tropical fruit.

Can. It's opaque, with a pale guava colour. Medium head. On the nose, lots of tartness, decent amount of guava character. Light sweetness. Good balance on this one.

473ml can. Pours a hazy amber-pink with lots of large particulate and a small, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet fruity aroma of grapefruit, guava and grainy wheat malt. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, guava, grapefruit and lemon in a dry, tart, lactic acid finish. Light body with a thick texture and average carbonation. Juicy, refreshing and easy to drink. A great finish to a hot summer day.
