Black Tea Lemon Pale Ale

It's a mild ale brewed with Earl Grey tea from Two Hills Tea and conditioned on fresh lemon. Featuring aromas of lilac, bergamot and lemon zest. This beer drinks like unsweetened ice tea. Seriously, we are talkin’ about those faded-jeans-ice-tea-on-the-porch kinda flavours that country radio seems to think is an unbeatable experience.

On tap at Annex Ale Project, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lime, black tea and gentle English hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with black tea, lime and biscuity malt. Gentle and easy.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber with a medium, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Mild aroma of pale malt, black tea, floral and faint lemon. Sweet flavour of pale malt, orange peel, black tea and floral in a dry, tart lemon finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Thirst quenching, easy to drink and interesting. Fun stuff.
