Black colour. The aroma shows evident bourbon, and some chocolate. Full bodied, quite sweet, but well balanced by the strong roast, dark chocolate, and alcohol; with more notes of bourbon, and a touch of tobacco leaf.
This is a bold, excellent Imperial Stout, but overpriced on the current market.

355mL can, pours black with a small, creamy tan head. Aroma reveals loads of bourbon upfront and dominating, with some wood and a touch of vanilla. Flavour is rich and complex, with a wonderfully woody bourbon barrel character upfront, plenty of tasteful alcohol burn, and a touch of vanilla. The Four Roses really come through powerfully. Despite there being a modest burn, it is in no way harsh. Excellent bourbon bomb.

355 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full tan head. Aromas of chocolate nougat and sweet oaky bourbon. Flavors follow same with additional sweet toasted malts, but with a heavy dose of alcohol in the finish. Certainly nice flavors... 8/4/8/3/15 Second sample April 23. Aging well in can. Less ABV presence and more rich chocolate. Solid. 8/4/8/4/17

12oz from Firefly LRS @ home. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: nice bourbon, molasses, sweet, somewhat reminded me BCBS. Taste: along the same lines, moderately thick, lots of fudge, some burnt sugar and bitterness, some fruity notes. Overall: good one.

355ml can. Pours an opaque black with a medium, creamy, short lived, brown head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, bourbon, oak, vanilla, dark chocolate and licorice. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, molasses, licorice, tobacco, vanilla and oak in a bourbon warming finish. Full body with a sticky, oily texture and soft carbonation. Lots of complexity. A bit too much heat, but aging it a couple of years would mellow it out and make this a truly exceptional beer.
