Best before December 18th stamped on the bottom of the can.
It pours a clear rich gold colour with a finger of billowy long lasting foam.
I get quite a bit of biscuit malt in the nose. Melon is here, but the overall impression I get is the age of this IPA hasn't done it any favours.
Lots of melon in the taste. Biscuit and toasted malt brings the majority of the flavour. Again, a sign of the age. The minimal bitterness is another. Still, it certainly is drinkable and has moments when it shines, so to speak.
Body is fine.
I wonder why I just saw this earlier in the week when it's so close to its best before date???

355ml can. Pours a clear amber-gold with a medium, fluffy, off-white head that laces. Semi-sweet aroma of cracker malt, melon, tangerine, orange and herbal hops. Sweet flavour of biscuit malt, caramel, melon, tangerine, orange rind and pine resin in a dry, crisp, spicy hop finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.
