Battle River Brewery uses high-quality Alberta ingredients to pay homage to new-world beer roots. The name references that it was the beer of choice in Louisville prior to prohibition: it was widely available and often requested. Today it is much harder to find but equally hard for beer lovers to resist. Kentucky Common is a simple pleasure with a wide appeal.

355ml can. Pours a clear bronze with a medium, creamy, long lasting, ecru head that laces. Mild aroma of toasted bready malt, caramel and earth. Sweet flavour of toasted grainy malt, buttered biscuit, toffee, apple and honey in a dry finish. Light body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. A malt-forward, easy drinking brew. It's aiiight.
