After the amazing response to our 5th Anniversary DDH Pale Ale, we have decided to continue brewing the style. DDH Pale Ale - Number Two is hopped with Citra, Summit, Ekuanot, Loral and Mosaic in double the quantities we would normally use. The result is an intense burst of pineapple, mango and slight citrus bitterness with effortless drinkability.

Lata 50 cl en el Taxman León 01..05..2018. (r53). Color ámbar dorado amarillento velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores frescos con buena dosis de herbaceos verdes con toques ligeros afrutados. Cuerpo ligero a medio ganando algo de densidad al calentar. Amargo final fresco verde herbal y floral. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda.

Highly acclaimed APA from Brew By Numbers, from a can at Billie's Bierkafetaria. Irregularly shaped, moussy, snow white, dissipating but stable head over a misty ochre-tinged peach blonde beer. Dank, expressive aroma of stale lime juice, fried onions, grapefruit, passionfruit juice, pineapple, fresh dill, tarragon leaves, dough, mango. Sweetish and sourish onset, fruity and rather estery with notes of ripe melon, mango, orange and granadilla, medium carb, starfruit-like soapy note, soft and fluffy, cereally and bready body, dank hoppy finish, softly but adequately bittering, very aromatic with remarkable fresh herb (dill)-, onion- and citrus peel-like aspects. Interesting, elegant and expressive, this is indeed among the best in its genre I had to date.

Thnx to david. Pours hazy blonde, medium white head. Smell is intense, fruity, orange, tropical. Taste is creamy, complex grainbill, tropical, fruity, good kind of yeastyness as well. Could use a tad more crispy freshness to me, but a good beer overall.

Can from De Bierkoning @ home. Murky yellow color. Frothy white head with reasonable retention. Aroma's: fruity, citrus, juicy, dank hops. Retronasal it's more herbal, dank, less fruity, a bit resinous, onion. Flavor is light bitter, light fruity sour. Light bodied. Finishes light sweet, danky, slightly dry.
