After the amazing response to our 5th Anniversary DDH Pale Ale, we have decided to continue brewing the style. DDH Pale Ale - Number Two is hopped with Citra, Summit, Ekuanot, Loral and Mosaic in double the quantities we would normally use. The result is an intense burst of pineapple, mango and slight citrus bitterness with effortless drinkability.

500ml can from Hop Burns & Black. Canned 01/02/18. Pours deep cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of fruits, tropical notes, pine, citrus, grass and mango. Taste is smooth, sweetish and juicy fruity with some hints of tropical notes, mango and exotic notes. Finish is sweet and slightly stuffy juicy with some tropical fruits and hints of mango. Lacking bitterness and body, quite onedimensional.

Can sourced from Ghost Whale, shared at home with the Mrs - medium hazy golden coloured pour with white head. A mix of tropical and citrus fruits, medium pale malts, some light caramel, grapefruit, peachy, lemon, soft smooth juicy body, hoppy bitter finish. Went down a treat. Top draw pale.

Can at home from Grumpy Goat, 8th March 18. Pours cloudy orange. Aroma is pungent as you open the can, floral, heady perfume, love it. Taste is full, aromatic, floral, citrus, the hops sing and there is some good bitterness. Great beer.

Can at home picked up from the brewery. A hazed bright golden orange coloured pour with lasting off white head. Aroma is super juicy freshly pulped mango juice, sweet tropical fruits, little tart pineapple. Flavour is composed of doughy wheat, light wheaty grains, live tropical fruits with five alive, pithy citrus fruits, little tangy pineapple. Palate is medium bodied , little resinous, little chalky, highish carbonation. Nice hoppy burps in the finish. Good stuff.

Can courtesy of Bobinlondon (cheers Bob) consumed at home, Saturday 3rd March 2018. Yolky gold, murky appearance with a large almost frothy head. Quite tropical in the mouth the mango and pineapple in the commercial description certainly show here. Really drinkable, lots of hoppy burps, nice carbonation and mouthfeel. This is a fab beer. Can at home in Hackney - thanks for Fergus for sourcing. Pours unclear orange-gold with a frothy, white head. Nice aroma, lots of fresh citrus fruits, peach, tangerine. Light-medium sweet flavour with more juicy tangerine, subtle pale bread, mild rindy bitterness, grapefruit, nectarine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nice and juicy in the finish ish, lots more tangerine, orange juice, rind. Loads of fleshy citrus. Excellent.
