Barley Wine - Barley Special|

This year's barleywine was brewed with more dark malts, English yeast, and a less conservative fermentation profile.
We've released it in smaller, 330ml bottles, so it's easier to drink one now and tuck a few away to be enjoyed months or years from now!
Bold toffee, fig, and dark fruit notes will warm your bones through the winter.
May your resolutions last as long as this bevy can!

330ml bottle. Pours a murky red-brown with a large, foamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready malt, caramel, apple, pear, brown sugar, raisin, musty yeast and floral hops. Sweet flavour of bready malt, caramel, toffee, raisin, fig, brown sugar, apple, pear, musty yeast, grass and floral hops with a dry, bitter, warming booze finish. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. A hoppy Barley Wine that would probably mellow with aging.

330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy red mahogany with full head. Aromas of brown sugar, raisins, bready malts and a little grass. Flavors of sugary dark fruit, candi sugar, toasted malts, and bread crusts. Grassy bitter finish. Still a bit harsh. Needs to sit awhile.
