Slow Jazz is a real tastebud-tingler. We’ve jazzed up the traditional Belgian farmhouse style with whole cherries, adding a hint of tartness and sweetness to a dry, warming base.

Bottle from Aldi Inverurie. It pours ckeat golden - amber with a dissipating white head. The aroma is bready, cereal, toasty grain, banana loaf, light spice, hint of berry and some nutty vibes. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, green banana, chalky, cereal, spice, grassy, hay, orange peel, metallic twang and not a lot of obvious cherry character to it to be honest (touch of cranberry maybe?). Dryish finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Decent enough, but not much cherry character to it. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Clear, light orangey, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly funky, yeasty spicy, minimally fruity aroma, notes of brine, mustard seed, a touch of dill, a fruity touch of tart cherries with minimal sherbet character, floral overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, pale and wheaty malty, tart-ish fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, hints of sour cherries, some unripe apricot, a touch of brine. Watery texture, (slightly too) prickly carbonation.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aromas of saison yeast pepperiness and bread dough. Tastes has a touch of the cherry, but very faint. Mostly straightforward saison action. Dry finish.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - extremely high fill, so was surprised when it was still well carbonated. Nice lacy head on top of a cloudy golden body. Nose - light white spice, candied lemon. Sweet cherry. Taste - sweet cherry, more of the candied fruit with some white pepper. Palate - light to medium bodied and creamy. Tangy through the middle. Tangy finish, if a bit sweet. Overall - good saison style points but might've preferred a less sweet cherry thing.
